So here's a new thing I've decided to do. To celebrate my new and fabulous website (and affordable) I'm going to "try" to blog all my shoots. To this point I've attempted which sort of deflated and died out to "here's what I did with so and so" instead of explaining how it REALLY went.
Last weekend I really didn't have the time to do a thorough one on DVP (Death Valley Pornstar) because I was literally walking out to another shoot. Soooooo, now I begin. I tend to blubber so here's the outline version...
Venue: The Continental Room is a fabulous find. Definitely will shoot there again BUT I think I'm going to try a shorter lens next time so I don't have to roll over on top of the sticky bar with my heavy ass. Most cardio I've done in a while if not ever.
DVP:
Jimi-You look photogenic IRL and you are on film as well. Your images remind me of Guess Ad for some reason.
Jeff-You know, you are REALLY photogenic. This is not to say that you aren't IRL but you are REALLY photogenic. AND going through your film I was chuckling to myself because let's face it, you are a closet model.
Ashley-You are hot, my husband thinks you are hot (he edits my film with me) not sure if that's inappropriate but seriously, you make me want to work out. I didn't have to do much with you, I just stood there and pushed my shutter with you.
Adrien-You have the most beautiful brown eyes. I know it was hard for you, I know. My husband can totally relate to you, its not easy having a total stranger stare at you and tell you to get on the dirty floor. BUT its all about that 1 or 2 picture you know? and I think we got it! So you are totally off the hook.
So I know how it is, the anticipation before getting all the pictures. I called my wedding photographer during my honeymoon (yes I did, yes intentionally, and no I wasn't drunk, YET) because I wanted to make sure the images didn't get accidentally deleted or if he remembered to take pictures of my damn centerpieces (I was a crazy one)
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO I pulled out some of my fav shots. I might decide to go back and play with them again but here they are...I have 100+ left to go which will take me a good week and a half. Until then here's some for all of you so that you don't think I've drowned my camera. If I do disappear, at least you have one of each right?
P.S. Major kudos to Robyn the stylist http://www.modelmayhem.com/pics.php?id=662980 and Cindi the MUA (page me with your portfolio if you see this)
