My friend's baby just turned 1 and we took some pictures for fun. I knew it was hard photographing babies but MAN! They are bundles of joy but it was really draining.

Rose Bowl Flea Market

Splurge of $8.00 Indian Sari inspired large textile/I have been looking for one to use as table linen or bed spread or couch throw

$10.00 each real leather jackets/The aqua one has fun plaid cloth lining

Canvas Bag Project

You always need to name your pieces:

1) Pink/Green = Shakespeare in Love

2) Blue/Brown = Tokyo Madness

I began with:

2 large natural canvas bags/unbleached/prewashed

6 Fabric acrylic paint

1 Clear stamp base

3 sets of stamps/6 pieces each

I laid out the pieces on the canvas and designed my pattern since the stamps are all individual pieces. For "Shakespeare in Love" I chose to do 2 separate colors. But I wanted to experiment more on "Tokyo Madness" so I began mixing colors.

Major FAIL moment:

Overall the project was easy because you have very easy applications. So all you need is creativity since its the same as composing new form of art. BUT BUT BUT I underestimated the technicality of stamping with acrylic.

1) Its messy

2) Crease of the bag

*I'M PLANNING ON USING STENCIL AND FABRIC STAMP INK NEXT TIME to control the smudge and execution.

**I'M ALSO PLANNING ON CREATING MY OWN STAMPS on foam boards.

San Diego

Last week we went to San Diego for the weekend. Its our go-to for anything really. I just love the colors of the sky.

Christmas Gift = Finished Loose Tea Tin

I "sort of" decided on how to tie the ribbon around the tin. I think it looks somewhat pulled together overall and very pleased. My mom tried the tea this morning and its truly yummy! So here's the breakdown.

Price per piece

Assembly Time = (I would say approximately 15 minutes each)

Rose Bowl Flea Market

I REALLY hate flash but I have no other way today. But enough about that...

I went to the Rose Bowl Flea market months ago, I'm barely posting pictures. My mother in law bought me the jewelry box ($10) which is just lovely and I snatched the English handheld set for $25 (Eww, the mirror and the night stand are so dirty)
